    The positives, according to Fowler, are that Daniels doesn’t need surgery and hasn’t been placed on injured reserve yet. The 24-year-old quarterback will be re-evaluated during the Commanders’ bye week, which is in three weeks. According to Fowler, depending on Daniels’ condition and the team’s record going into the bye, a course of action will be charted for his return that will be in the 3-6 week range. Marcus Mariota will continue to start for Washington in the meantime.

    Jones suffered an AC joint sprain at the end of Week 9’s victory over the Lions. The 30-year-old running back missed practice on Wednesday before getting in a pair of limited sessions on Thursday and Friday. Jones told reporters he was in a good spot on Friday and now it’s reported that he’s expected to play. He’s a borderline RB2 this week coming off totaling 98 yards a week ago.

    Presumably those discussions will take place after the season. Murray was benched in favor of Jacoby Brissett after seven seasons as the starting quarterback with the Cardinals and then placed on injured reserve with a foot injury. Murray is eligible to return from injured reserve in Week 14. The Cardinals will have to act fast this offseason as $19.5 million of Murray’s 2027 base salary becomes guaranteed on the fifth day of the new league year, which will come in mid-March. Schefter passes along that many sources believe Murray will be on a new team next year with one source saying a separation is imminent. Murray won’t turn 29 until next August, but his market could be limited due to a lackluster track record. While head coach Jonathan Gannon and GM Monti Offenfort weren’t part of the Cardinals organization when Murray was drafted and signed to an extension, they’ll incur a dead-cap hit of upwards of $50 million in 2026 if Murray is released.

    The Rams’ No. 1 wide receiver would never leave a fantasy squad in the lurch. The team gave Nacua a half-day on Wednesday before upgrading him to full participation on Thursday and Friday. The No. 5 wide receiver in half-PPR per-game scoring (18.7) is ready to rock in a divisional tilt against the 49ers on Sunday. He is an elite WR1.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #10
    Kupp practiced in full on Friday after upgrading to a limited session on Thursday. He should be considered firmly questionable to play, though the full session to close the week is a good sign. The veteran wide receiver entered Week 9 by practicing in full with a heel injury, and was ultimately sidelined by a mid-week hamstring strain. The latter issue has seemingly improved. The Seahawks have labeled WR Tory Horton (groin/shin) questionable to play this week, while ruling out WR Jake Bobo (calf), setting up new WR Rashid Shaheed for a sizable role in his first game with the team. Shaheed is a WR3 with upside, for the occasion.
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #5
    Wilson remained limited on Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to full participation on Friday. He told reporters on Thursday that he will play, and we generally believe him, though it is possible the Jets will play it safe by keeping him out one more week. The team’s Week 9 bye allowed Wilson to rehab for three weeks while missing just two games. He is a borderline WR1/2 if active.
  • MIN Running Back #33
    Jones sat out on Wednesday before practicing in a limited capacity on Thursday. Knowing his Friday status would help one assess where he sits on the questionable spectrum, but today’s report has not yet been released. Were he to practice in full, he would seemingly have strong odds of suiting up this weekend. If active, he would carry re-injury risk, but could still be started as a borderline RB2/3.
  • JAX Wide Receiver #7
    As expected after the first two DNPs this week. Thomas Jr. has a chance of being ready for Week 11, but should be considered questionable heading into the practices. Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington will be Jacksonville’s main receivers this week against the Texans with Thomas and Travis Hunter sidelined.
  • CHI Running Back #25
    Monangai kicked off the week with a limited practice session before upgrading to full on Thursday. He remained full on Friday. Teammate, RB D’Andre Swift, logged the same participation levels on Wednesday and Thursday, nursing a groin injury, but was absent on Friday, evidently due to a personal matter. He is questionable to play, which should yield another fantasy-friendly workload for Monangai. He is on the low-end RB2 spectrum, even if Swift is active.
  • CHI Wide Receiver #15
    Good to go after a full practice, Odunze figures into the WR1/WR2 range against the Giants in Week 10. He thudded last week, but the overall shape of the passing game is very encouraging for Odunze. He should be started with confidence despite the dud.
